Seg\u00fan la situaci\u00f3n, Espa\u00f1a es un pais c\u00e1lido (Depending on the location,Spainis a warm country)<\/p>\n

\u201cSin\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

sin: without (This is one of the easiest prepositions to translate, you can translate it for without almost always)<\/p>\n

Ej: No me gusta dormir sin pijama (I don\u2019t like sleeping without pyjamas) <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tienes que aprender a hablar espa\u00f1ol sin miedo a equivocarte (you have to learn to speak Spanish without fear of making mistakes)<\/em><\/p>\n

But sometimes you can find sentences where \u201csin\u201d would not be translated as \u201cwithout\u201d<\/p>\n

Spanish Prepositional phrases<\/h1>\n

Spanish Prepositional phrases consist of one or more prepositions combined with a verb or a noun. Let see several common examples that might be useful:<\/h3>\n

– alrededor de (surronding)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hay un jard\u00edn alrededor de la casa (there is a garden surronding the house)<\/em><\/p>\n

Vamos a corer alrededor de la manzana (let\u2019s run around the block)<\/em><\/p>\n

– al lado de (at the side of (beside))<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

La casa est\u00e1 al lado del peque\u00f1o pub (The house is at the side of the small pub)<\/em><\/p>\n

Quedate al lado de tu madre (Stay beside your mum) <\/em><\/p>\n

– antes de (before)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Haz los deberes antes de jugar (Do your homework before playing games)<\/em><\/p>\n

Piensa antes de hablar (Think before speak)<\/em><\/p>\n

– Cerca de (near, nea by)<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

Hay un bar cerca de aqu\u00ed (there is a bar near here)<\/em><\/p>\n

Cerca del mar hace Buena temperatura (Near the seaside there is a nice temperature)<\/em><\/p>\n

– Debajo de (under, below)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hay un gato debajo del coche (there is a cat under de car)<\/em><\/p>\n

Te espero debajo de casa (I\u2019ll wait for you below your place)<\/em><\/p>\n

– Delante de (in front of)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hay una iglesia delade del colegio (there is a church in front of the school)<\/em><\/p>\n

Hay mucha gente delante de m\u00ed (there are many people in front of me)<\/em><\/p>\n

-Dentro de (inside, in)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Coge el boligrafo de dentro del caj\u00f3n (Take the pen which is inside the drawer)<\/em><\/p>\n

No hay fruta dentro de la bolsa (there is no fruit inside the bag)<\/em><\/p>\n

– Despu\u00e9s de (after)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Estoy despu\u00e9s de ti en la fila (I am after you in the queue) <\/em><\/p>\n

Me gusta dormir despu\u00e9s de comer en verano (I like to speep after eating in summer)<\/em><\/p>\n

– Fuera de (outside)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mi trabajo est\u00e1 lejos de donde vivo (My work is long way from where I live)<\/em><\/p>\n

Manchester<\/em> no est\u00e1 lejos de Liverpool (Manchester is not long way from Liverpool)<\/em><\/p>\n

– En contra de (against, opposed)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
