We will use one of them depending on the gender or number of the noun which it describes. As you know, in Spanish is very important to keep all the words adjacent to the noun agreeing in gender and number.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1nto vale esta camiseta? (How much is this t-shirt?)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1ntos apellidos tienen los espa\u00f1oles? (How many surnames do the Spaniards have?)<\/li>\n<li>No s\u00e9 cu\u00e1ntas salchichas hay en el plato (I don&#8217;t know how many sausages there are on the plate)<\/li>\n<li>Cu\u00e1nto\u009d in Spanish can also be combined with prepositions:\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfDe cu\u00e1ntos alumnus estamos hablando? (How many students we are talking about?)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfEn cu\u00e1ntos paises has estado? (How many countries have you been?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Qui\u00e9n \/ Qui\u00e9nes<\/h1>\n<h2>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Qui\u00c3\u00a9n\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Qui\u00c3\u00a9nes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in Spanish can only be referred to people. As you can guess, the second one is the plural form of the first one. We will use them in the same way we use \u00e2\u20ac\u0153who\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in English.<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; \u00c2\u00bfQui\u00c3\u00a9n quiere un bocadillo? (Who want a sandwich?)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; No s\u00c3\u00a9 qui\u00c3\u00a9n es Julian (I don\u00e2\u20ac&#x2122;t Know who Julian is)<\/p>\n<h3>In Spanish they can go with prepositions, here you have some examples:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; \u00c2\u00bfA qui\u00c3\u00a9n has venido a ver? (Who have you come to see?)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00c2\u00bfPara qui\u00c3\u00a9n es este regalo? (Who is this gift for?)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Por qu\u00e9 and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Para qu\u00c3\u00a9\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Spanish, we will use \u00e2\u20ac\u0153por qu\u00c3\u00a9\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to ask \u00e2\u20ac\u0153why\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and it is much more used than \u00e2\u20ac\u0153para qu\u00c3\u00a9\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. We can translate the last one as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153for what\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and we will use it only to allude to the purpose or intention.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00bfPor qu\u00c3\u00a9 no aprender espa\u00c3\u00b1ol? (Why don\u00e2\u20ac&#x2122;t you learn Spanish?)<\/p>\n<p>No entiendo por qu\u00c3\u00a9 no viajas (I don\u00e2\u20ac&#x2122;t understand why you don\u00e2\u20ac&#x2122;t travel more)<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00bfPara qu\u00c3\u00a9 vas a M\u00c3\u00a1laga?
