We will use <strong>Cu\u00e1les\u009d<\/strong> when the object is plural.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es tu casa? (Which one is your house?)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la diferencia entre oir y escuchar?) (What&#8217;s the difference between hear and listen?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They can combine with prepositions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfA cu\u00e1les de tus amigos ves m\u00e1s? (Which of you friends you see more?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfA cu\u00e1les de las dos ciudades quieres ir? (Which one of the two city you want to go?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\u00bfD\u00f3nde?\u009d<\/h1>\n<p><strong>D\u00f3nde<\/strong>\u009d means <strong>where<\/strong> and it is used in questions to ask the position in space of something:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfD\u00f3nde vives? (Where do you live?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1 el gimnasio?) (Where is the gym?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfD\u00f3nde estudias espa\u00f1ol? (where do you study Spanish?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In Spanish we can combine it with prepositions:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfDe d\u00f3nde eres? (Where are you from?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfDe d\u00f3nde vienes? (Where do you come from?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sometimes we use <strong>A donde\u009d<\/strong> only meaning motion towards a place (with verbs like ir (go) and venir (come) for example):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfA d\u00f3nde vas? (Where do you go?)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bf<span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #333333; cursor: text; font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman','Bitstream Charter',Times,serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\">A d\u00f3nd<\/span>e han ido tus amigos? (Where have your friends gone?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo?\u009d<\/h1>\n<h3><em><strong>Cu\u00e1ndo\u009d<\/strong><\/em> in Spanish means literally <em>when<\/em> and we use it to ask for a reference in time.<\/h3>\n<p>It can be used in direct and no direct questions frequently in the same way you use <em>when<\/em> in English:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo son tus vacaciones? (When do you have holydays?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>No s\u00e9 cuando vuelvo a Espa\u00f1a (I don&#8217;t know when I will come back to Spain)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Also in Spanish, it can be combined with prepositions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfHasta cu\u00e1ndo vas a estar en Manchester?
