Numerous activities can be incorporated into the curriculum to help students learn about different fruits and their properties. One activity that can be conducted is a fruit-tasting session, where students are given a variety of fruits to try and identify. This activity helps children develop their sense of taste and texture and expands their knowledge of different fruits and their characteristics. Another engaging activity for primary children to learn about fruits is through arts and crafts. Students can create fruit collages or paintings using materials such as paper, paint, and markers. This hands-on activity allows children to be creative while reinforcing their understanding of different fruits, colours, and shapes.

Additionally, incorporating songs or rhymes about fruits can be a fun way for children to learn and retain information about fruits playfully. In addition to tasting sessions and arts and crafts, incorporating educational games and worksheets can also be beneficial for primary children to learn about fruits. Teachers can create matching games where students have to match the fruit to its name or image or fill in worksheets with fruit-related questions and activities. These interactive activities make learning about fruits more engaging and help children develop their cognitive skills and retain information better. Overall, by incorporating a variety of activities into the curriculum, primary children in reception can learn about fruits in a fun and effective way.

I have attached below three activities you could try to do after you watch the video. One is a bit more challenging than the other one. Also, the last one is only for Reception classes and to check your answers.

Las frutas-easyDownload

This activity looks like this

Las frutas-challengeDownload

This challenging activity looks like this

This Reception activity looks like this

Las-Frutas-ReceptionDownload

This easy and catchy youtube video song from Pica, Pica.
